How does it work?
In short, the system passes a picture of your face through a neural network that turns it into a zombie. See this reddit post for more details.
How can I get good results?
- High resolutions pictures in good lighting work best.
- The person should take up a large portion of the image.
- The person should be facing straight toward the camera.
- Smile! Gnarly bloody teeth are the best part!
What do you do with my data?
We only use your images to make zombie pictures. The original implementation didn't even store your image on disk. We now use a model hosted on Hugging Face, which stores model outputs so that you can share them. The only other data we collect is standard google analytics for counting page views and the like.
How does this site make money?
It doesn't. It was a labor of love. I am paying for the servers out of pocket with help from donations. If you like it, consider donating via the button on the front page.
Can I use your API?
Yes! The model is now available through the Toonify API.
